24-Hour Care

AbaCares live-In home care services are provided to individuals who cannot be left alone at any time. Often, they are house-bound. Support is provided “24-7” year-round (i.e. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year). Live-In support offers an alternative to Assisted Living Care where services are provided in a facility setting.

The majority of people, who require Live-In Care, fall into one or more of the following categories. I.e. They have:

Temporary Health Conditions - Individuals who need help following surgery and/or are undergoing rehabilitation after an illness or accident. E.g. Traumatic Brain Injury, Knee Replacement.
Chronic Conditions - Individuals who have permanent conditions that will need support as their conditions deteriorate and/or they age. E.g. Multiple Sclerosis, Paralysis.
Terminal Conditions - Individuals who have injuries or illnesses that are expected to result in death and want to spend their remaining days at home. E.g. Cancer, Advanced Alzheimer’s Disease.
